Seasonally, a historic barn with a large fieldstone fireplace, finished hardwood floor, proscenium stage and full height loft can accommodate gatherings of up to 200 people. Hulbert’s staff of experiential educators, team-building experts and leadership trainers can provide tailor-made programs for guest groups, utilizing a wide range of outdoor facilities including high and low ropes challenge courses, and winter environments for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and lake ice skating.
Ohana Camp on Lake Fairlee is available from late May through early June, and late August through September for meetings, retreats, reunions and social events. Its 19 rustic cabins have cozy living rooms with fieldstone fireplaces, one to four bedrooms, modern baths and kitchenettes. Meeting spaces in addition to the large dining hall include a small library and the living rooms of several of the larger cabins. Recreational resources include an extensive waterfront for swimming and boating; a large fleet of canoes and kayaks; tennis, basketball and volleyball courts; hiking trails and miles of back roads for biking.
Camp Aloha Hive on Lake Fairlee may be rented for single-day events in the late spring and early fall. A beautiful dining room with a wide wrap-around porch overlooks the lake, with table seating for up to 150 people. A commercial kitchen is available for meal preparation by our own food service staff or approved caterers. A spacious assembly hall with a fieldstone fireplace and a stage can host large group meetings as well receptions and dances.
At Horizons Day Camp on Lake Fairlee, a pinewood paneled dining hall in handsome former farmhouse seats 100 people for meals, and a separate assembly hall with a fieldstone fireplace and a stage provides separate meeting and social space in the late spring and early fall.
