Discover New England

Vermont Exploritas Aloha Foundation foliageRoad Scholar Discover New England Program

  • The Land And The New England Heritage White steeples, frugal Yankees, witchcraft and cows! Is that your picture of New England? Join a Dartmouth history professor, and nationally renowned expert in all that is New England, for a week of discovery about real New England, past and present.

  • Baking With The Nation's First Flour Company King Arthur Flour and George Washington's presidency both started in 1790. The Baking Education Center staff will demonstrate those years of experience. Breads like grandma's, tender pastries and specialty items fill our week. Tasty samples abound!

King Arthur Flour Classes will take place at the Baking Education Center in Norwich, Vermont, about 15 minutes from the Inn. We will travel by school bus each day to the Education Center.

  • Fitness For Fun, Energy, Health, And Vitality By popular demand, we offer a sampler of our favorite exercise programs: fitness walking, low-impact aerobics, Tai Chi for balance, strength training made easy, and common sense nutrition. Feel good, feel strong, feel energized after each class.  Tai Chi begins each day before breakfasts. Classes combine discussion and exercise.
