Wake to the call of loons after a peaceful night's sleep at the edge of a beautiful, wild lake. Join Aloha Foundation staff for a family canoe-camping adventure on the beautiful Rangeley Lakes of western Maine. Enjoy the natural world at a leisurely pace, while skilled trip leaders teach camping and canoeing skills for a safe and memorable canoe trip. You and your family will relax, make new friends, and spend that special time together -- an opportunity often lost in the hectic pace of everyday living.
This trip is fully outfitted and includes transportation, canoes, cooking gear, group equipment, instruction, delicious food, lots of fun, and safe adventure. This trip will be led by a Registered Maine Guide and an experienced trip leader. The Aloha Foundation has been running summer camps for 100 years, year-round outdoor education programs for 35 years, and programs with Road Scholar/Elderhostel for 20 years.This trip is run in collaboration with Road Scholar/Elderhostel's Intergenerational courses.
