Hulbert Homeschool Week offers participants a chance to gather together for a week full of fun and adventure, learning, and lasting friendships made in a true working community.
Whether through performing in the Talent Show, learning a new skill, speaking out in community meeting, or living away from home for a week, during the Hulbert Homeschool Week, participants have the opportunity to explore, to learn about themselves, and to take risks in a supportive and caring atmosphere.
In small group "Exploroptionals", children choose from activities including mountain hikes, ecology lessons, outdoor cooking, arts and crafts activities, and the famous Hulbert High Ropes Course. In whole group gatherings and evening activities, participants and staff work together to develop a sense of community where each individual has a voice and a role to play in the community.
For part of each day, homeschoolers participate in a Core Group led by a Hulbert instructor. The Core Group works together to solve problems and face challenges through activities from Hulbert's teambuilding curriculum, and through our mealtime "jobs program". The Core Group is an excellent place to meet new friends and to practice new skills.

"Our family has been involved with Hulbert Homeschool Camp for ten years. The outstanding staff and the camp families quickly become extended family. I say proudly and often that my children are "Hulbert Grown" which means my children have been supported in a mutually respectful journey of growth and discovery with the finest people and activities I could possibly imagine. The inter-personal and community skills my children developed at Hulbert have served them well in every aspect of their lives, and we continue to return year after year for pure fun and friendship. I can't imagine not having Hulbert supporting our homeschooling experience."
