Vanessa Riegler is the Director of Ohana Family Camp.

Vanessa came to the Foundation with extensive experience as an outdoor educator and experiential program manager, having served as a lead instructor in Outward Bound centers for youth and adults in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and South Africa; as Outward Bound’s Director of Community Outreach and Curriculum Development; and most recently as Outward Bound’s Director of New Center Development, a job that entailed the interim management of start-up centers in communities from coast to coast. She holds degrees in English from Yale University and in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Connecticut. She also has a background in residential camping and even chose to be married at camp.

Vanessa lives in Chelsea, Vermont, with her husband Nolan, their nearly three-year-old son, Stone and newest family member, daughter Coral.
